I have a question that has been borne of sheer, unadulterated laziness. After all, is that not the true mother of invention?

I don't know how you party people do it, but I always visit http://touamb.com/index.php?action=unread to see what's new. Then I go through and right-click each "last post" icon to open each thread in a new Firefox tab. Is there some way to make this easier?

I realize that this makes me sound like the laziest fug in the world. But I was just hoping that there was some way to make it easier. Like if something has an RSS Feed, that you can bookmark it in Firefox and then "open all in tabs". Is there such a thing for this board, my favorite place on the internets?

Cort, yeah, DDOS attacks from Southeast Asia.

We're working on it.  I was supposed to get two new mirrored database servers (one in Seattle, one in Princeton) which would help mitigate the issue, but yeah, we must've pissed someone off.

Bear with me - I'm getting the main server replaced as well in October.

The real fuck of it is that when it does crash some database tables get corrupted, like they are from bad seed and the whole forum chokes because the session table has bad data.  Just wipe it!  Who cares?  Not me!

Oh yeah, and while I have a monitoring thing set up to send me an SMS when the forum goes down so I can re-throttle the table rebuilds, the SMS system is itself not entirely reliable, so feel free to shoot me an email to my gmail (jough.dempsey@).
