anyway here's my intro.

Ladies and gentlemen and trolls, it is my distinguished honor to present to you the MVP award. Achehead or 'Woody, touambie or assetbarbarian, we all can agree that this is one fine community populated by genuinely interesting, funny, smart, and tiresome people, and very few are those first without being that last.

This is a distinguished category, or so I'm told, and each of the nominees has contributed invaluably to the strength of our community. All of them have provided leadership, camaraderie, and humor, and each of them possesses his or her own panache that embodies every post. We'd be much worse off without any of them (I can vouch for this as I am from the internet). Let's briefly review the nominees.

Bobby Isosceles requires no introduction. Where there is a meme, he is there. Where there is bacon, he has already been. Where there is a rap battle, he dominates.

pmcd9 lives on the web, I think. His photo collections and intensely-followed hobbies are legend. The only guy creative enough to make an Art Car themed Art Car. So. fuck*ng. Meta.

AugustWest has been here forever, and this year when he was needed he took up to the reins of administrator. Plus, who else has shaken Alex Motherfuck*ng Trebek's hand? More than once?

Jay-ell is our original den mother (ODM?) and though she's had some time away from us - real life does get in the way - on her return she's proven herself the same awesome person we've known and loved for years.

Wombat stepped up this year when she was needed, into the role of Den Mother, and helped stem the tide of trolls and spammers, saving us from drowning in the filth that only the internet can provide. Along the way she helped reorganize a couple things and now we have the Not Achewood boards! Besides her incredible love for pugs and Technical Staff, she can always remind us of our true position as figments in her imagination. She's already been named the most popular this evening, but that isn't enough - she has proven, and we have confirmed, her status as Most Valuable Poster!
