Apparently more than a few people were unaware that when you text that code that you get billed $10. They thought it was one of those "do this and money will be donated" type things.

Ironically, Robertson is an example of evolutionary natural selection at it's finest.  The dude with the dumb ideas gets more PR buzz, and so gets more dumb viewers who donate money.  Dude's found a damn niche. 

What I want to know is how you go about getting a job as one of Robertson's Ed McMahons?  Dude always goes on air with a sidekick.  He's got female side kicks, male sidekicks, even a distinguished black gentleman sidekick, with grey hair no less!  Whoever does his casting ain't no slouch.

Evidently too many people flew to Haiti. The airport is jammed to capacity and they are out of jet fuel, so flights from the US aren't even allowed to take off. No phones, no airport, no sea port, and roads jammed with people.
