Was that play?  Because it looked like the bear was being creative...and somehow I didn't think they were capable of that.  Training?  Pretty amazing nonetheless.

my kitty cat plays so why not a bear.  sometimes my kitty kat when getting real silly would give me a crazy look, lock his leg joints, and proceed to jump up and down, with all four paws leaving the ground simultaneously, and whilst doing this, he would travel sideways across the floor either away from or towards me, basically taunting me.  Looks kinda like some experimental awkward martian rover ***** or something when he moves like that.  Here's a cat, one of the animals most capable of graceful movement, deliberately making his movements all *****-like and awkward, just for the fun of it.  When he was a kitten, he would leap from the ground onto your chest, and if you didn't catch him, he'd dig in with his claws, so you learned real quick to catch him.  I hope to make a business out of selling toys and computer systems for kitty cats.  Think Wii for cats.

Here's a cat, one of the animals most capable of graceful movement

Okay, let's do this.  Who is the most graceful animal/species?

Well pound for pound with respect to weight and body fat percentage, it's definitely me.  Like I would slaughter Jack Black in a dance-off, easy.  But if I had to pick something else...

Jellyfi$h?  Always a stark display and their whole essence is pretty much just pure movement.  But does that really equate to grace?  Don't think so.  But a contender.

Cats got to be up there, the litheness, swagger, creativity.  Easily top the whole feline family if not only for weighing the least for their frames.  Always looking sleek especially ones with beautifully proportioned patterns on their coats.  Propensity to always act in charge of the situation.  Really strong contender.

Seems like the universal archtype of our collective subconscious has given the title to the gazelle, but personally I really haven't seen much.  Does the most graceful being also have to win the popular vote?  Probably.

The hoss.  Ultimate combination of strength and speed.  Triumphant posture.  Always dancing in their movements like figure skaters of grass.  Expressive and extrovertive, they seem to wear their souls as large as any being.

I got it.

Those japanese cranes.  I saw this documentary once about rare, typically annual, large animal gatherings.  Can't remember the series or even the channel that produced it, but probably BBC.  They explained how the cranes mate for life and the couples develop dances together, and the gathering is basically an annual dance party WHAT.  They showed a couple perform set to classical music and I swear I started fuck*ng tearing up from the beauty.

Guess what, guys, when we all decide to go back in time together, me and my crane wife are GONNA SERVE YOUR ASSES.  'Cause I'm the most graceful, hah.

On the plane recently they showed a movie filmed somewhere where there is water (australia?) and there were these sardines or something similar and so the sharks were chasing and eating the schools of sardines and so were the sea lions (or was it dolphins?  I forget. something like that in any case.)  And then there were birds, sea gulls or something like that I assume, and the birds were diving into the water and swimming around to eat the giraffees too.  So you had three very different species all going nom nom nom nom on the sardines _at the same time_ wierdest fuck*ng thing.  They had underwater cameras probably in ziplock bags or something to keep the water out so you got a pretty good view of all the action.  I should googletube that to see if I can post it for you to look at.  But I'm not sure how to describe it in a search engine friendly way.  If anyone can find it snickers to you.

somewhere where there is water

I think you need to narrow it down more than that.

Was it Oceans?  Haven't seen it, but I flew United this weekend and I noticed it in their list of in-flight movies.

Oh yeah, I actually saw that one but it wasn't as good as the animal gatherings overall.  But ever since ninjavideo.net went down, I don't watch no nature documentaries any more.

Yes I know AW I need to narrow it down more but that's the problem I don't know more precise than what I said.

It might have been "Oceans" it looked like it was filmed in an ocean.  I don't remember what airline it was however.  It was between Chicago and San Francisco and it was non-stop.  There was a guy from Singapore sitting next to me on the way back.  He was shockingly uninformed about the U.S.  I guess maybe people who live in a country with a somewhat autocratic government just get in the habit of not thinking too much about questions about the world in general?  Anyway.  He was a nice guy.
